Terms and Conditions of Use

These terms and conditions govern the sale of products by Matrix Protection Gear UK Ltd (Company No. 10344226) with its registered office at 10 Hartington Street, Derby, Derbyshire DE23 8EA (“Matrix Helmets,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through our website, email, and telephone sales. By accessing our website and/or purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Our Contract

Our website’s shopping pages guide you through the order process, allowing you to check and amend any errors before submission. By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase a product from us. An automatically generated email confirming receipt of your order will be sent. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order.
Acceptance occurs when we send a Dispatch Confirmation Email. Any products not mentioned in this email are not included in the contract.

2. Delivery

Products are dispatched from the UK. Standard UK working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Orders for next-day delivery must be placed by 12pm. Orders made on Fridays will be dispatched on the following Monday.
If delivery fails after two attempts, the order will be returned, and a refund will be issued minus the delivery charge. It is the buyer's responsibility to notify us within 21 days of the estimated delivery date if items are not received.

3. Defective Products

Check products upon delivery. Notify us within a reasonable timeframe at [email protected] if you believe a product is defective. Do not return products before contacting us.
If confirmed defective, we will reimburse reasonable return postage costs with proof of postage. Damaged or defective products may qualify for a refund, including the original delivery charge.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

We offer a 14-day returns policy for standard products in their original condition. Custom and bespoke helmets are non-refundable unless defective. EU customers have statutory cancellation rights.
Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the product was defective or dispatched mistakenly.

5. Availability of Goods

Products are subject to availability. We are not liable for losses due to delayed dispatch caused by suppliers or external factors beyond our control. Product images are illustrative and may vary slightly from actual products.

6. Ownership and Title

Ownership and risk of loss pass to the buyer upon product dispatch from our UK warehouse.

7. Customs

Buyers outside the UK are responsible for import duties, taxes, and compliance with their local customs regulations. We cannot predict or control these charges.

8. Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and only use your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. See our Privacy Policy at www.matrixhelmets.com/privacy-policy.

9. Electronic Communications

By communicating with us electronically, you consent to receive electronic communications from us. All agreements, notices, and disclosures satisfy legal requirements for written communication.

10. Losses and Liability

We supply products for personal use only. We are not liable for commercial losses, lost profits, or business interruption. We do not limit liability for personal injury or fraud caused by our negligence.

11. Warranty

Our products are warranted against defects for one year from purchase. The warranty covers material and workmanship issues but excludes damage due to misuse or normal wear and tear.

12. Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for events outside our control, including natural disasters, transport disruptions, and industrial action.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

14. Website Use and Security

We strive to maintain accurate website content but do not guarantee error-free information. Unauthorized website access or harmful acts (viruses, malware) are prohibited and may result in legal action.
